I think the people at rotten tomatoes are just being biased towards pixar, so they have a bunch of them rated extremely highly Again, i'm not denying pixar's ability to make great movies, but they haven't made 11 movies that can be considered in the 300 best movies of all time. The other issue though is, rotten tomatoes makes wholly arbitrary judgements about whether a review is positive or negative Rotten tomatoes makes everything one or the other, they aren’t consistent with their methodology & (as demonstrated in the original graphic for this post) it’s possible for a movie with worse reviews to get a substantially higher percentage rating on rotten tomatoes than another movie with much better reviews.
