Post 44 serves 700 veterans and has about 1000 members including legion, auxiliary, and sons of the legion. We offer meeting/event space of approximately 3,500 square feet When set up for a dinner event, we can seat approximately 125 depending on the table configuration We offer either buffet or sit down meals with full beverage service
Our stage can accommodate a dais, or a band. Considering scottsdale’s population in 1940 was estimated at 2,500, starting a legion post was certainly a leap of faith. Service organizations like the american legion — specifically post 44 — are facing challenges in growing our membership
